Looking for the last great event for you and your children before school starts?  It's the Old Fashioned Country Fair at the Ojai United Methodist Church on Saturday August 27 3-8 PM. There will be carnival games where you can test your skills for prizes, enjoy great foods and snacks, a bouncy house, 50/50 BINGO, Crafts by Elaine, a small petting farm, a raffle and a TERRIFIC silent auction featuring vintage and collectible items. Noah's Ark Preschool will answer questions about their excellent Preschool and after-school programs, and will offer face-painting to the young and the young-at-heart. There will be a craft table by the California Coastal Horse Rescue (and a visit from Taffy, the miniature horse) and a Dollar Deal Table of gently used clothing and purses, that will benefit "Gabriel House" a home for handicapped children in Ensenada, Mexico. Entry is FREE, as is the music and dancing provided by a well–known local DJ, so put on your best cowboy boots and scoot on over to 120 Church Rd, opposite Nordhoff High School.
